FILE NAMING RULES

When naming any project or output file, please follow the following convention:

Normal file names:

• all lower case

• underscore instead of space

• date format yyyymmdd

lastname_firstname_title_version_yyyymmdd

smith_jane_mywonderfulfilm_assembly_20240808.mov

smith_jane_mywonderfulfilm_firstcut_yyyymmdd.mov

smith_jane_mywonderfulfilm_finecut_ yyyymmdd.mov

smith_john_mywonderfilm_pixlock_ yyyymmdd.mov

smith_jane_mywonderfilm_screeningcopy_ yyyymmdd.mov

Folder names without extension:

smith_jane_mywonderfilm_dcp_yyyymmdd

Assignment file names:

smith_jane_fmpr338assignement1_20240808.pdf

smith_jane_fmpr340assignment2_20240808.wav
